NBC's hit show "American Ninja Warrior" drew crowds to Public Square for yet another big moment for Cleveland's premier outdoor venue.

The heart of downtown Cleveland was transformed into a television set where two qualifying rounds were taped Monday and Tuesday. "American Ninja Warrior" TV producers say the episodes taped here will air later this summer.

The show airs locally on WKYC, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland.

Both episodes were taped during overnight hours, but that didn't stop crowds from turning out to cheer on the competitors.

NBC also brought FANFEST to Public Square to coincide with the American Ninja Warrior show. FANFEST featured a 120-foot inflatable ninja warrior course, a cargo net climb, and the Voice chair, among other NBC related activities.

Cleveland was the first city to host NBC's FANFEST, which was aimed at bringing fans of all ages out for family fun.

Local news outlets were in Public Square throughout the week covering the action.
