Skatetacular in The Square is a season-long celebration that kicks-off with Winterfest and the opening of The Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink on November 30.
Skatetacular will feature a stunning holiday light display throughout the 6.5-acre park and programs including live choral performances, a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus every Saturday and Sunday in December, as well as other holiday character appearances.
Additional Skatetacular programs include Trivia Night with prizes on December 1, Ugly Sweater Night on December 23, and a nightly ticket giveaway to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert on December 27.
Ten "Instaspots" will be featured around The Square that offer memory-making photo opportunities - perfect to share on social media.
lnstaspots include a 10-foot tall snowflake, Sustainable Snowman Family, Giant Polar Bear, Cleveland's Official Holiday Tree, a life-sized teddy bear, and other Skatetacular displays. The Catholic Diocese will have a nativity scene on display, while the Downtown Chabad will showcase a Menorah display.
Each Instaspot location was selected for it’s individual appeal as well as a spectacular view of downtown Cleveland.
