The Mid-Summer Classic is upon us and with it a fun-filled weekend of activities for the diehard and casual baseball fans, courtesy of Mitchell & Ness.
The iconic apparel brand known as the purveyor of sports gear will launch their immersive "Mid-Summer Village" activation on Saturday, July 6 to Tuesday, July 9.
The experience is designed to immerse consumers in a branded environment with an exclusive pop-up—offering a range of MLB products; customization station—allowing fans to personalize their gear; and daily giveaways, where fans can win MLB gear or tickets to the weekend's events.
Tapping into the passionate consumer, Mitchell & Ness partnered with two all-American staples; Fender and Louisville Slugger to auction 30 custom bats and guitars with proceeds going to a local charity.
Furthermore, local Cleveland-native James Quarles will be curating a live art installation throughout the weekend and Stance will be on-site offering sock customization.
"Mitchell & Ness will be selling an array of their premium MLB and branded product. A limited amount of exclusive, retro-logo Cleveland All-Star t-shirts will be on sale, celebrating the city of Cleveland and the history tied into it.
Colorful authentic mesh batting practice jerseys, just like Nolan Ryan wore back in the day will also be available. And if that isn't enough, with Mariano Rivera heading into his Hall of Fame induction, the following weekend, we have some of his authentic jerseys and batting practice jerseys for purchase."
