Pride in the CLE

Pride in the CLE event in Public Square

The annual Pride in the CLE event draws thousands of people to public square to celebrate diversity and inclusion. The event featured a parade through the streets of downtown Cleveland that culminates with a festival and celebration in The Square. Attendees enjoy food and drink, and explore many booths featuring different businesses and activities.

“Pride in the CLE (SM) is a collaborative operation that shows we are a strong and vibrant community.” said LGBT Community Center executive director Phyllis Harris. “We are putting together an event that will make the entire city proud.” Pride in the CLE draws more than 3,000 each year. The reimagined Public Square is part of The Group Plan's mission to better connect Public Square, the Malls, and the lakefront.
