Shakespeare in Public Square is back!

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is returning to Cleveland Public Square on Friday, July 29.

This time it’s presenting a FREE adaptation of the hilarious play “The Learned Ladies.

The show follows the forbidden love story of Henriette and Clitandre. Her mother wants Henrietta to marry Trissotin, a foolish man, with pretentious ideals who creates awful poetry only loved by social elites. Will she follow a path of true love or the one paved with a lifetime of misery?

Bring a lawn chair, picnic blanket and make sure to arrive early for the best seats.

It’s all happening Friday, July 29, at 7 PM on the Gund Foundation Green in Cleveland Public Square.

See you there!
