Lords of the Land is an open style Hip Hop dance tournament showcasing many diverse and talented local and national dancers. Special showcases featuring various Cleveland dance groups and dance circles will be held between the rounds of competition. This tournament/showcase will take place July 31. Public Square was rededicated on June 30, 2021 following a $50 million renovation and investment by the community. In the five years since the re-opening, Public Square has offered more than 1,500 individual programs to the community, the majority being free.
The Group Plan Commission, a civic non-profit organization, programs, maintains and operates Public Square and maintains the MALL.
