ARTIST CONCEPT | ANTHONY ANDREOLI

"Inspired by downtown Cleveland and reverence for the historic beauty and architecture of the Public Square. Multigenerational family members including myself have had a part in building many of the structures that create Cleveland’s landscape and beautiful skyline. From historic and industrial to modern this place and the built environment is special to me.

My design is a piano sculpturally transformed utilizing metal and wood symbolically merging the old and the new in the city. This is an ode to the Art Deco exemplified under Cleveland’s Bridges and in Tower City; the gritty Industrial edge and infusion of metal in the skyline silhouetting and other modern twists like the curves of the new Public Square and unique concrete formwork."
