A significant portion of The Gund Foundation Green has been resodded in Public Square. The resodding has to be completed due to normal weathering from a season where The Square hosted more than 280 events.
Visitors will notice fencing and signs asking pedestrians to use the Key Bank Promenade to walk around the new section of grass.
The rest from foot traffic will allow the lawn to grow this fall and spring. The affected area will re-open in the spring of 2020. The drop in temperatures means new activities for The Square.
