Winterfest draws a huge crowd each year

Winterfest in Public Square

Winterfest drew thousands of people to Public Square for the tree lighting ceremony Saturday.

Winterfest is the annual tree lighting and holiday festival that was presented by Huntington National Bank.

Almost 2,000 people were able to ice skate for free in the Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink thanks to the support of The Cleveland Foundation.

This was the third consecutive year the Cleveland Foundation supported Winterfest with the ice skating.

Thousands of attended enjoyed day long activities including live music, food trucks, holiday shopping in Tower City Center, and a Winterfest Kids Village presented by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Winterfest is brought to you by the Downtown Cleveland Alliance.

The reimagined Public Square is part of The Group Plan's mission to better connect Public Square, the Malls, and the lakefront.
